5. Donate $1. or more to the LifeGiver Project, the proceeds of which benefit Eric De La Cruz and/or other heart transplant patients in his situation (see below for more information).

@lilyofoz We are going through a second day of testing/evaluation. Its rigorous and it's been a lot for #ERIC. I am telling him 2 b strong.

Eric has not been doing well. He has a chest tube and can't speak. I have been a total mess he has been undergoing pretty rigorous testing. (cont'd..) He has been on a lot of meds and not completely coherent but notice that when he sees us in the room he looks a little startled. My mom (cont'd..) Says its hard for her to be in the room because she doesn't like to see her son like that, I keep telling her to be stronger so he knows we (cont'd..) Are behind him 100%. She has been doing ok but ended up cracking a rib so is in pain on the right side, her broken knee is on the left so we (cont'd..) Have a wheelchair and a walker for her. I'm trying really hard to keep it together but its been increasingly difficult. On a good note, they (cont'd..) Finally listed Eric today. He is status 1a, so he is now on the list for a heart. When Felicia told me I started crying hysterically, I've (cont'd..) been such an emotional mess. Waterworks. Waterworks. I finally just went to the bathroom to wash my face because my Mom was tired of looking (cont'd..) At my mascara stained eyes and cheeks. So there you have it. He is on the list. We made it to another milestone. I only wish Eric was better (cont'd..) So he could celebrate with us. All I ask now is that you pls help us pray. Pray 4 Eric 2 get better and pray 4 a new heart 2 arrive. #ERIC

#Eric FYI Status 1A - Patients who must stay in the hospital. Status 1A patients have the highest priority on the waiting list

We just got kicked out of Erics room. They have to change the filter on one of the machines and swap out some of his IV's so they asked us 2 (cont'd..) go sit in the waiting room. I've used this time to take some pix. Going to see if they will upload.

Just got word from Erics exgirlfriend Noelle. She is coming out to see him and will be here first thing in the morning. Tho Eric isn't very (cont'd..) Coherent right now, I think he will be happy to see her. She was the one who helped him get his dog. He named his dog "Chance" to symbolize (cont'd..) His hope for another shot at life. For those of you who haven't seen Chance, I will upload another picture of him. #ERIC

Just told #Eric Noelle is coming 2morro. They dated for 3-4 years. He has eyes closed and can't speak but asked him to nod if he understood. (cont'd..) He nodded his head yes. #Eric

The surgeons are on the floor and are making rounds now. I have not met these guys yet and am so scared I'm going to start crying. #ERIC
